A Zapier alternative that runs on your own server
Zapier is the easiest way to connect apps, and it lives in its own cloud. For a bank, an accounting office or anyone whose invoices and client mail must not leave the building, that is the problem. AIK runs on your own server, or in our cloud in the EU.
Why teams look for an alternative
- Where the data goes. With AIK installed on-premise, documents, mail and databases stay on your machine. With a local model, even the AI never leaves the network.
- Messy input. A trigger-and-action chain expects clean fields. AIK agents read scanned invoices, photos and free-text e-mails and turn them into data.
- Control before action. Every new agent asks for an OK before it sends, posts, pays or deletes, and an allow-list limits who it may write to.
- Records an auditor accepts. A tamper-evident log of every action and signed receipts for each run, with AI-made output marked as such.
Where Zapier is still the better choice
It connects thousands of apps and nothing needs installing. If your data may live in a US cloud and your job is "when this happens in app A, do that in app B", Zapier is hard to beat. AIK connects fewer apps directly and fills the gaps with a general API agent and webhooks.
